
This family-owned sandwich shop, which boasts to make the city’s best “Old Philly Style Sandwiches,” has recently expanded from its South Philly shop to the likes of University City, Citizens Bank Park, the Borgata in Atlantic City, Princeton, and Manhattan. After opening on Oregon Avenue in 1992, Tony’s cheesesteaks were ranked “Best of Philly” by Philadelphia Magazine in 1994. Locals also frequent this glass-enclosed hot spot for the roast pork and broccoli rabe, another one of Luke’s award-winning sandwiches.
